Jamaica and Cuba recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel to reduce the burden of cancer and dialysis treatment by 50 percent.
The initiative was birth by JACDEN Group of Companies to provide greater quality health care in Jamaica. Jamaica has decided to cement a relationship with Cuba, to provide quality medical care at an affordable cost.
Executive chairman of JACDEN group of Companies, Dennis Gordon says the cost of treatment is expected to reduce the burden patients face. He says shortage of equipment proves to be a significant challenge in Jamaica’s health sector. More details below:
