Curfew Imposed in Gregory Park, St. Catherine

A two-day curfew is now in effect in sections of Gregory Park, Portmore, St. Catherine. This comes as intergang conflict intensifies, leading to arson attacks. Our news team visited the community to gauge reactions from residents; they are displeased that the police are in-and-out of the community; they want them to be fixed as well as the curfew to be extended. Residents of Gulf tell CVM LIVE that Tuesday night seemed like the “calm after the storm”, but this was just an illusion as they say, gunfire was the highlight of Wednesday morning. 

Three houses were firebombed late Monday night into early Tuesday morning at Mitchell Drive, Cottage Drive, and in Gulf while shots reportedly rang out for roughly 5 hours.

Head of the St. Catherine South Police Division, Senior Superintendent Christopher Phillips says the police are soon to list some persons of interest. Watch the report:
