Davian Bryan, the man who became Portland’s most wanted, was earlier this week charged for kidnapping two children in bath, St. Thomas last October. Bryan who appeared in court on Monday was charged with forcible abduction, rape, grievous sexual assault and unlawful wounding. He was remanded and is to be brought back to court later this month. Three-counts of forcible abduction, five-counts of rape, two-counts of grievous sexual assault and one count of unlawful wounding.
Those are the range of charges against 31 year old Davian Bryan. Bryan who’s been on the run for months was captured on March 23 in Durham District, Portland appeared before the Portland parish court on Wednesday.
Bryan committed majority of these offences while he was out on bail for illegal possession of firearm and a rape charge. Police Sergeant Delrose Green says he is now charged for four offences in the parish. Bryan who is the main suspect in the abduction of a nine-year-old and a 14-year-old in bath, St. Thomas last year, was pointed out in an identification parade in the parish last week. He was remanded and will be brought to court at a later this month. Sergeant Green says Bryan’s family is relieved that he’s in custody as they were fearful people would harm him.
