In a concerning update, the Health Ministry reveals a sharp rise in dengue cases across the island. Disturbingly, the latest data suggests nearly 2,000 children may have fallen victim to the current strain. The Health Ministry is reporting a notable surge in dengue cases island-wide. On November 6, the National Surveillance Unit recorded a staggering 3,147 suspected, probable, and confirmed instances of the disease. Of these, 870 cases are confirmed.
