Former Deputy Chairman of the Firearm Licensing Authority (FLA), Dennis Meadows is refuting the claims made by the FLA CEO on Tuesday, at the Presser, as defamatory. He says Mr. Shane Dalling’s pronouncements not only seek to impugn his reputation and character but also that of his former board colleagues, adding “it’s the action of an obvious desperate man who sees the walls closing in on him”. He also denied any part in the whistle-blower emails as he insists, he’s a forthright and open critic.
Meadows says in 2017 when the FLA matter became of public interest, he voluntarily recused himself from the board to facilitate any unhindered investigation. He said MOCA was invited to investigate all allegations. Which he assisted as he says he had nothing to fear.
