Former Jamaica Labour Party Senator Dennis Meadows has found a new political home with the People’s National Party (PNP) and has been chosen as the preferred candidate to contest the North Trelawny seat in the upcoming general election. According to preliminary reports, a resounding majority of party members expressed their support for Meadows, with 248 out of 262 votes cast in his favor. Additionally, one ballot was spoilt, and 13 votes were against his candidacy. This decision marks a significant shift in the political landscape as Meadows embarks on a new chapter in his political career with the PNP.
