Desmond Mckenzie Urges Citizens To Comply With Amended Noise Abatement Act

On Thursday, the Minister of Local Government and Community Development Desmond Mckenzie urged the people of Kingston and St. Andrew to respect the temporary amendment to the noise abatement act which was passed in the Lower House on Tuesday December 10 and in Senate on Friday December 13.

The extension allows a 2 am cut off time for events held during the week and 4 am for weekend events during the holiday season and ends on January 31, 2020.
