Health Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton was speaking during a media briefing on Wednesday. He informs the public that digital vaccination cards will align us to global standards.
According to the Health Ministry, the digital vaccination cards are assured to be more secure and convenient for users. The ministry urges users to verify the digital card information before downloading. To ensure security, the cards use a quick-response code to validate the information.
The digital cards have other features such as the ability to generate a new card on demand, cellphone accessibility, and ease of use for international travel. The digital cards will be made available on Monday, December 20, 2021.
Finally, older citizens who need help accessing the card are encouraged to visit a doctor or a vaccination site for assistance.
