A mother and daughter were murdered shortly after 5, Monday morning on Spanish Town Road.
In a press release by the National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA), the shooting occurred at their 232 Spanish Town Road facility sometime around 5 AM adding that due to the recent activity, normal operations have been delayed.

Shooting Incident at 232 Spanish Town Road Facility- The NSWMA regrets to inform our valued customers and stakeholders that an unfortunate shooting incident occurred at our 232 Spanish Town Road facility some time around 5 a.m.
The police are currently on the scene, diligently processing the incident. We are fully cooperating with the authorities to ensure a thorough investigation.
Consequently, our operations at this facility are temporarily delayed. This will inconvenience our customers and we sincerely apologize for any disruption to our services.
Our top priority is to ensure the safety and security of everyone involved, and we will continue to work closely with the police to assist in their efforts in this most unfortunate incident .
