A tragic incident unfolded on Monday evening in the community of Orangefield, Ewarton, St. Catherine, resulting in the loss of two lives. The victims have been identified as Raschie Givans, a 36-year-old shopkeeper, and Dayton Dwyer, a 33-year-old security guard at Orangefield Primary School.
According to reports, the fatal attack was carried out in a drive-by shooting. The perpetrators, traveling in a white Honda Stream, initially passed the shop but later returned, stopping to unleash a barrage of gunfire on the victims. Both individuals succumbed to their injuries at the scene. A relative of the victims has expressed the community’s profound disbelief and shock in the wake of the incident.
