Dozens flout COVID-19 protocols: On New Year’s Day it was all hands on deck as the Marine Police and the Coast Guard patrolled the waters to ensure persons were not breaching the orders of the Disaster Risk Management Act (DRMA).
Their first stop was the Lime and Maiden Cays which were both empty. The Marine Police say throughout the day there was 100 per cent compliance as persons stayed away.
However, over by Hellshire, St. Catherine there was a crowd.
At this location, dozens of people in breach of the Act, some in the water and others on land.
