Dr. Christopher Tufton: Time to Frown Upon Unvaccinated

Health Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton says the time is now to laud the vaccinated and frown upon the unvaccinated. The country recorded a historic near 13- hundred new cases of the coronavirus on Thursday beating the previous high of 11- hundred new cases on Wednesday.

Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Jacquiline Bisasor Mckenzie is urging Jamaicans to get vaccinated.

In preparation for the worst to come in light of the rising covid-19 cases the country’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Bisasor-Mckenzie says Jamaica should expect the peak of the fourth wave in weeks.

Dr Bisasor-Mckenzie points out that hospitalization of children will increase after being exposed to adults who are yet to be vaccinated. Meanwhile, Health Minister Tufton says the time is now to frown upon the unvaccinated.

He notes there are disadvantages placed on the vaccinated by the many who are not vaccinated.
