Minister of Health and Wellness Dr. Christopher Tufton and other stakeholders in the health sector toured the Duhaney Park Health Centre, magnifying the importance of a functional health care system, in light of the crisis at the country’s primary health care facilities.
With the recent upsurge in COVID-19 cases and hospitals reaching full capacity, the Minister suggests healthy lifestyle choices as means of prevention is avoiding major medical attention.
The Minister further adds that health care workers recorded a 23 percent positivity rate. He says the health and safety of health care workers on the front line are critical as they too are in the bracket of the most vulnerable.
