Economic and Financial Analyst Ralston Hyman says consumers could see increased inflation in food prices during the Christmas season. He says the inflation could rise from the 9.5 % recorded in October this year as a result of the recent weather impacts that destroyed many crops.
He also reiterates suggestions made by the Bank of Jamaica (BOJ) Governor, Richard Byles that savers should seek higher rates from banks. Hyman says he supports the decision to highlight banks that fail to fully supply the needs of customers. Watch the full report here:
