EIGHT-YEAR-OLD PERISHED IN WESTMORELAND FIRE


April 28, 2024- Eight-year-old Ramiel Richardson perished in a fire at his home in Top Lincoln,
Grange Hill, Westmoreland on Friday, April 26.
Reports from the Morgan’s Bridge Police are that about 11:40 p.m., Ramiel was alone in the
house when it caught fire. His mother who was on the outside raised an alarm and the fire
department was contacted. After the cooling down operation the lifeless body of Ramiel was seen
lying on the ground. He was taken to the hospital where his death was confirmed.
The mother has been taken into custody pending further investigations.
