A 70-year-old man is left homeless, after his mentally ill wife burnt their home to the ground, in Ebony Grove, Clarendon.
The senior citizen is asking for the public’s assistance to pick up the pieces of his life in the aftermath. “more than a million dollars in losses” That is how 70-year-old Llewellyn Morgan describes the damage caused by his mentally ill wife who allegedly set their Clarendon home on fire. He says he received a call from a concerned neighbor that his house was ablaze, and rushed home to see what he could save.
However, when he arrived, it was a lost cause. As Morgan laments his wife’s previous attempts to set fire to the house, he says she is been on medication for her illness, but often refuses to take them.
With the fear and hopelessness of having to start from scratch at his age, he is pleading with the public to provide assistance however they can, to help him get back on his feet. Watch the full report:
