Entertainment Sector Gets Green Light

The entertainment sector will also reopen tomorrow with the prime minister announcing monetary support for musicians, entertainers, theatre production companies among others. Holness is at the same time warning citizens that permits are required and capacity limits must be adhered to.

Musicians, entertainers, theatre production companies are among those set to benefit. The Easter weekend is already booked out with highly anticipated events such as Festival of Floats, Sandz Jamaica, and I Love Soca confirmed for April 16, 17, and 18 respectively. But not without a warning from the Prime Minister who said permits granted for events will include a condition that the number of persons in any venue, be below 70 per cent of capacity until April 15. More details in the report below:
