In a successful collaboration, the Ministry of Health and Wellness, together with Pan American Health Organization, PAHO, has trained a cohort of over one hundred individuals to recognize and provide assistance to individuals diagnosed with mental illnesses. The Ministry recognizes that the pandemic has intensified the necessity for prompt intervention, leading to the initiation of the Problem Management Plus programme as a means of addressing this concern.
