A family is left in distress and confusion after a solemn visit to their mother at the Dovecot Memorial Gardens and Crematorium turned sour.
They claim their mother’s headstone has been misplaced as a result of construction on the grounds.
The children are demanding answers and suspect that their mother is not buried where the headstone indicates.
When CVM Live visited dovecot, groundsmen shared that the construction was to allow for multiple graves to be placed on top of each other. Dovecot administrators assured the lot numbers are used to prevent the misplacing of headstones. However, the daughter of the deceased says she is sure the headstone is in the wrong place.
The family now seeks clarity on the situation for their peace of mind.
