It has been less than 24-hours since the drowning of 12-year-old Jennel Walters and in the aftermath, her family struggles to cope with the tragedy. The victim’s mother Christine Gilbert remembers her daughter as a bundle of joy, destined for greatness. The Montego Bay High student was among four relatives who were washed out of a vehicle. Her grandfather and his daughter were rescued; however, the search continues for her grandmother, 68-year-old Beryl Walters.
Christine tells CVM LIVE a relative called to inform her that a family had been washed away, resulting in her immediately trying to make contact with her loved ones. Unfortunately, those calls went unanswered. More in this report:
