The family of the murdered Constable, Constable Jermaine Bennett, says they are still yet to come to terms with the killing of their loved one. The police was shot and killed by gunmen a week ago.
When CVM Live spoke to the sister of the officer, she says she never thought her family would be dealing with such a tragic loss.
Constable Bennett’s sister says she shared a loving and close relationship with her brother.
On Monday the police reported that the main suspect in the brutal murder of the officer was cut down during a gun battle in Waterford, St. Catherine. Two firearms were also seized.
The grieving family says they’re praying for justice for the cop who was assigned to the Kingston Central Police Division.
Constable Bennett was killed exactly a week ago during a visit to his child in Gregory Park, also in St. Catherine.
