Loved ones continue to mourn the passing of national junior footballer, Jedine Carr, who was shot and killed on Friday. The incident occurred in St. Thomas, where gunmen attacked the 18-year-old on her way to training, while in a taxi. The family was today visited by a team from the Jamaica Football Federation.

Family members say Jedine who was a warm, loving, and friendly individual, did not have any quarrels with anyone they are aware of. When CVM LIVE spoke with Joe Carr, Jedine’s father, he recalled the last conversation he had with his daughter. He said moments later, he received a call that his daughter had been murdered. The family has since received support from the Jamaica Football Federation and various sporting agents. 

The footballer was shot and killed by gunmen in St. Thomas on Friday, July 8, while on her way in a taxi to training; the driver of the taxi was also shot and killed. Watch the full story here:
