Farmers in the Hartland Area of St. Catherine are in distress because they feel like they have been left at a disadvantage by the government. These farmers have been seeking acquisition of the lease for their lands since 2017, and say they have yet to receive an update.
They are confident that the service they provide to the country could be even more impactful if they would be given proper documentation to receive loans to better their production.
