Farmworker Diagnosed With Cancer Seeks Help

On Sunday you would have heard the story of how farmworker  Kerian Burnett, learned she had cervical cancer just a few months after landing in Canada. After being diagnosed her contract was terminated and her employer booked several flights to send her back to Jamaica, however, she received help from her doctor and managed to remain in the country.

 Burnett is not only grappling with the effects of her diagnosis, but she now needs your help to clear existing medical bills and further her treatment. Among these battles are medical expenses mounting as the days go by. What was initially approximately sixty-five thousand Canadian dollars now surpasses that figure, coupled with growing uncertainty as to where she will live in the coming months. Watch the report:
