Fatal Crash in Trelawny Leaves 3 Dead, Over 20 Injured

Another major traffic accident on the nation’s road has led to the death of at least 3 people and over 20 with serious injuries in hospital. The accident occurred on the Braco main road in Trelawny. Initial reports suggest speeding may have been the cause.

The three-vehicle collision including a Toyota costa, a Toyota Hiace, and a Honda City, is said to be the result of speeding. Director of the Island Traffic Authority (ITA), Kanute Hare, who recently pleaded to the public to take caution on the nation’s roads, spoke with CVM LIVE. While expressing condolences to the family of the persons killed in the grim accident, he underscores the senseless accidents on the road. He explains that the magnitude of the accident is absolutely brutal, adding that numerous victims had to be transported to various hospitals for treatment.

The Director minced no words while condemning reckless driving on the roads.
