Father Allegedly on Run After Daughter’s Stabbing Death

The father of 17-year-old Shedeque Calvert is believed to be on the run, following her stabbing death, in their Barry Street home on Sunday. It is alleged the teen was stabbed by her father following a dispute between the two, claims being refuted by residents and family members. 

What led to the killing of Shedeque, remains a mystery to her loved ones. Moments leading to her being stabbed in their community in Kingston, her aunt tells our news team that Shedeque’s friend allegedly came to their home, reporting a quarrel between Shedeque and her boyfriend. Though the aunt says this dispute was no anomaly for young Shedeque, who was hiding the boyfriend’s alleged abusive tendencies for quite some time.

Fed up with the situation, the aunt says she decided not to intervene and went to shower.  Watch the report:
