Fayval Predicts Productive New Academic Year

Education Minister Fayval Williams is anticipating a successful academic year despite myriad challenges. She says even with the horrors of the COVID-19 pandemic the sector is on a positive trajectory. As Jamaica reels from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Education Minister Fayval Williams says she has high hopes for a productive academic year. The minister says the sector has faced several challenges during the 2-year gap including the recent exodus of teachers.

However, she says despite these setbacks educators are determined to succeed. Watch the report:
