A St. Ann community has been plunged into mourning following the stabbing death of 57-year-old Pastor Michelle Roache otherwise called Anne-Marie, by her relative. The incident took place Monday night. The police have since launched an investigation into the tragedy.
Residents and the church community of Content Gardens, St. Ann are in mourning. Reports from the Ocho Rios Police are that at about 11:30 Monday night, Roache was stabbed multiple times and her throat slashed at her home by her own nephew who residents say is mentally unstable.
A man who resides on the same premises as the pastor, says it was a surreal moment. He says her nephew then threatened to pull down the electric wires and call the police. Thereafter Roache asked him to accompany her on the outside, the accused then hugged Roache at which point things took a turn for the worse. Watch the full report:
