The union representing uniformed members of the Jamaica Fire Brigade has issued an ultimatum to the Ministry of Finance and the Public Service to begin discussion of the proposed new salary structure arising from the compensation review, within the next 10 days, failing to do so may result in a disruption to the operations of the brigade.
Unions say they have been seeking to commence discussions since May 2022.
