Beckford later relocated to Portmore, St. Catherine after he was assisted by some good Samaritans who provided him with a place to stay. However, with an eye infection he contracted suddenly, he says life has been made even more challenging. Beckford has been seeking employment adding he is willing to work. As he pursues his career in music Beckford says by gaining employment, he would be able to construct his own room in a section of the yard, if he’s granted support to rebuild.
