Victims of a fire in Central Kingston on Monday will benefit from the government’s Social Housing Program according to Prime Minister Andrew Holness who visited the area with a team of government officials.
With regards to investigations surrounding allegations the houses were targeted, head of the Central Kingston Police Superintendent Beresford Williams tells CVM LIVE there is no indication of arson. He notes the police have increased their presence in the space and says they will be on the lookout for persons who may be involved in criminal activity.
Meanwhile Prime Minister Andrew Holness who visited the area says the victims will be able to benefit from the government’s social housing program, however, he highlights that assessments will be done to ascertain land ownership. Watch the full report:
