Foreign Affairs Minister Rejects Calls for Resignation

Jamaican Foreign Affairs Minister, Kamina Johnson Smith, has chosen to address the recent calls from Lisa Hanna, the Opposition’s spokesperson on Foreign Affairs, for her resignation in the wake of Jamaica’s no-vote on a United Nations resolution regarding Gaza humanitarian aid. Johnson Smith attributed the controversy to a communication error. Speaking at a Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) conference held in Ocho Rios over the weekend, Johnson Smith firmly rejected the calls for her resignation. Watch the report:
