Fuel Costs to Jump By 4 Dollars Thursday

Motorists are in for another battering at the pumps on Thursday, March 31 when a new round of fuel increases averaging four dollars are set to kick in. This latest development has left some stakeholders even more concerned as the commodity climbs to new highs amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

With fuel costing upward of two hundred dollars per Litre at most gas stations locally, motorists have been brought even closer to the dire consequences of the war. President of the Jamaica Gasoline Retailers Association, Dianne Parram says it is far worse than projected during the recently concluded budget debates. She says it requires urgent intervention.
