Police in St James said Gabriel King’s mother could be arrested, having refused a court order allowing much-needed access to information believed to be critical in solving her son’s murder.
This after police cited delays in the investigation stemming from challenges in accessing the mother’s phone over a year ago. This despite a court ruling last September insisting that the child’s mother hands over her cellphone which police say could provide critical information in their probe.
That court order remains unmet.
Despite strategies to manoeuvre the obstacles, ACP Chambers said no applicable solution was found. Watch the report:
