“Express your mind and feelings” this according to Falmouth Mayor Colin Gager. He believes a lack of peaceful dialogue may be the root cause of recent crimes committed in the parish.
The mayor notes individuals are not willing to iron out their differences with violence. According to Mayor Gager, the parish of Trelawny has been off to a bad start with crime for 2022. Speaking with our news team earlier this week the mayor says individuals are not open to having civil discourse during conflicts. He says agreeing to disagree is a mantra persons should live by. He notes though the current crime rate is manageable. The mayor says domestic violence has also become prevalent in the parish along with migrating criminals. According to Gager, migrating criminals are seeking refuge and settling in the northern section of the parish.
