Gender Activists Call for Institutionalized Policies

 The alleged torture of a student at the University of the West Indies by another has sent shock waves across the island, following social media posts of the sheer brutality, and alleged torture with what appears to be an iron among other things.

Opal Palmer Adisa Gender Activist is calling on the university of the west indies to institutionalize a termly behavioral orientation for its students.  Palmer says the university has policies and students should further be made aware

Meanwhile, Omolora Wilson, President of the Guild of Students says the guild is working in all its power to ensure justice is being served. CVM LIVE understands, earlier today, the alleged male appeared in the Kingston and St Andrew parish court for a committal proceeding. This is to identify if the matter will be transferred to the supreme court.
