The Jamaica Teachers Association on Monday inked an agreement accepting the government’s 4 per cent wage increase for 2021/2022. Monday’s signing saw representatives from the Jamaica Teachers Association (JTA), and government members in attendance at the Finance Ministry. Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Finance Dr. Nigel Clarke sought to assure the JTA he’s committed to the partnership.
