The Opposition Leader recently addressed concerns surrounding the recent resignations of two of the party’s most popular representatives, Lisa Hanna and Luther Buchanan. He was speaking at the party’s post-Annual Conference Media briefing in St Andrew.
Despite the claim that the PNP is on one accord striving toward a progressive trajectory, concerns linger after two of the party’s heavyweights who announced their resignations from representational politics. When asked about these resignations that came weeks before the 84th conference, Party Leader Mark Golding says the resignations are not opposing the unity. He notes Buchanan’s resignation will also provide room for other candidates to vie for the seat.
Meantime, Golding sought to address the 12 days of mourning for Queen Elizabeth the 2nd, in which the government had announced there would be no celebration as it relates to government events. Watch more:
