An apparent show of political maturity at the People’s National Party (PNP) National Executive Council (NEC) meeting on Sunday, where the leader of the Opposition, Mark Golding addressed recent controversy relating to remarks he made and received during the course of the budget debate.
Re-mastering the message, Leader of the Opposition Mark Golding, sought to deflate some of the tension that has resulted from what many perceived to be inappropriate and inflammatory recent comments from the PNP leader himself, as well as those directed towards him.
The Opposition Leader concedes, that his phrasing during a recent political meeting in Nannyville, after innuendo that his party had something to do with the technical challenges experienced during Prime Minister Andrew Holness’ budget presentation, was also inappropriate. Watch the report:
