Councillor for the Maxfield Park Division, Dennis Gordon, has his eyes fixed on becoming the successor to Dr. Peter Phillips, as Member of Parliament when he steps down. The Councillor’s confident, and says his victory is inevitable.
When he retires, Gordon tells CVM Live with his predecessor’s blessing, he’s confident of victory. The issue was a major source of controversy recently, with talks surrounding Dr. Phillips replacement, being another candidate than Gordon. The Councillor however says he’s not aware of any outside challenge and adds that to win the constituency they must first win in Maxfield.
He says any attempt to unseat him would be futile. Meanwhile, Gordon went further, stating that his main focus continues to be financial empowerment for citizens.
