Government Halts Mass Vaccination For Jab Two

The government is to halt mass vaccination to make way for administering the second vaccine jab. The Ministry of Health says only citizens 60 years and older and select frontline workers can get vaccinated now as the Government works to secure the vaccines for some forty-thousand Jamaicans who are due to receive their second dose come May.

Health Minister, Dr. Christopher Tufton during an update in the Parliament on Wednesday says the Government has halted the island-wide programme due to the limited vaccine supply at this time.
