Grange to Present Study on Cost of Violence against Women

With scores of women impacted by domestic violence in Jamaica, Gender Minister Olivia Grange has announced intentions to furnish the cabinet with a study on the economic cost of violence against women. This she says will be used in forming strategies to protect women and girls. Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport Olivia Babsy Grange says she intends to present to cabinet the study on the economic cost of violence against women.

The funding commitments will help to drive initiatives to prevent violence against women and girls as well as provide support to survivors and their children.
