Guardsman Group Launches University

Over 8,000 workers contracted to the Guardsman Security Group will benefit from the Guardsman University. This is a first for the security industry in Jamaica. The launch was held Friday at the company’s headquarters in St. Andrew.

On Friday employees of the Guardsman Security Group were introduced to the launch of their university-a first for the security industry in Jamaica.  The university is designed to place the power of personal and professional development in the hands of the group’s over 8,000 contracted workforces. Team members will be able to complete courses for free, at their own pace, anywhere, from any smart device.

Managing Director of Guardsman Vinay Walia, says as the world advances, it is imperative that the company also adapts. He notes in the coming weeks there will be more promotions surrounding the university and is anticipating robust enrolment. Highlighting the personal benefits one stands to gain from enrolling, Vinay Walia, Managing Director – Guardsman Group shared a variety of courses that will be available.
