Three gunmen died after their vehicle collided with a Toyota Hiace tour bus carrying four tourists in Barbican, Hanover on Sunday. The tourists and tour bus driver sustained minor injuries. Meanwhile, police seized two firearms from the victim’s mangled vehicle.
Police reports are that at about 12:30 pm, the men who were traveling in a silver Nissan Latio were attempting to elude officers who were conducting spot checks; upon this attempt, the driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a Toyota Hiace tour bus.
Deputy Superintendent of Police for the Hanover Division, Keeble Simms says two firearms were also seized from the crash scene. He says they are not yet sure of the legality of said guns.
The law enforcer is appealing to motorists to be careful on the roads, as road fatalities continue to cause concern. More details in this report:
