Guns Seized in Canterbury, St James

A pre-dawn operation in Canterbury, St James on Tuesday resulted in the seizure of several illegal firearms. The operation forms part of continued efforts by the security forces to rid communities of guns and gangs.
CVM LIVE understands five men were taken into custody by the police during the operation. The police are encouraging residents to continue supporting them in their bid to reduce incidents of crime in the division. St James has long been named one of the most violent parishes in Jamaica fueled by gang-related activities and lottery scams. Watch the full report:
