Guy Calls for More Renal Dialysis Units Across Ja

The Opposition Spokesman on Health, Dr. Morais Guy has renewed his call for more renal dialysis units across the island. He recommends having these initially attached to the Regional Hospitals before expanding to the Type B Hospitals. He was making his contribution to the 2022/23 sectoral debate in parliament recently. 

Dr. Morais Guy argues that thousands of Jamaicans suffering from kidney or renal failure and recommends having these initially attached to the regional hospitals before expanding to the Type B Hospitals. Are being condemned to an early death because they cannot afford dialysis in the private sector.
