It’s been several days, and the search continues for the 24 year old, who has been unaccounted for. CVM Live understands, investigators at the Half Way Tree Police Station are no longer in charge of the case, our source citing a conflict of interest. Police sources have confirmed that the case of the 24-year old missing woman Donna-Lee Donaldson has been transferred to the St. Andrew south division, due to a conflict of interest.
Donaldson, who is a social media influencer and former host of a popular local reality show left home with her boyfriend who is a policeman Monday night, but she never returned. The woman’s family reported her missing to the half way tree police station. However, CVM Live understands that the policeman’s child’s mother is an officer at that station.
However, even with the transfer, the woman’s mother Sophia Lugg says she’s dissatisfied with the police’s efforts and minimal transparency. She’s hoping that the police’s promise of bringing her justice will materialize. Donaldson’s disappearance has sparked national and social media unrest as thousands of people express anger and anguish.
Her family however remains firm in their resolve to find her hopefully alive, the possibility of which diminishes with each passing day. In the meantime, CVM Live has received assurance from police personnel that they’re actively pursuing avenues where the evidence is leading them so far and are determined to solve the case.
