The Hanover Infirmary is nearing completion, that’s according to Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Desmond McKenzie. The minister and his toured the facility earlier this week. Minister Desmond McKenzie paid a second visit to the Hanover Infirmary which is nearing completion.
While on tour of the facility, Minister McKenzie highlighted that his team is pleased with the construction of the infirmary. However he noted there are some areas that still need to be improved. The Minister notes the necessary equipment are available and awaiting completion. He says in comparison to other infirmaries outside the parish, this one in particular is not as burdensome.
He says a matron quarter is pending construction. Meanwhile, Acting Matron of the Infirmary, Kayon Dyer says the upgrade of the facility has been long anticipated.
