Shock waves and more grief in Hanover on Tuesday, September 7, after an Hanover police inspector collapsed and died on the job. Colleagues recount the final moments with the man they say was filled with integrity. Law enforcers at the Hanover Police Headquarters in Lucea were Tuesday detained with grief as they recount the sudden death of their colleague, Inspector Michael Brown.
Superintendent for the Hanover Divison, Sharon Beeput says whilst in a virtual meeting it was brought to her attention by one of her colleagues that Inspector Brown had collapsed. Superintendent Beeput noted that she immediately called an ambulance and the fire service before making good the inspector’s transport to hospital. However, despite the medical team’s efforts, the late officer would not respond to their call to life.
The inspector was remembered for not only his commitment to his duties and an essential member of their taskforce, but as a man of integrity. The cause of death has not yet been determined, but what is clear is the absence of a friend and hardworking colleague. Superintendent Beeput notes that has impacted the entire division due to the Inspector’s sudden death.
