Health Minister Dr Christopher Tufton says plans are being put in place to remedy the increase in hospitalizations due to COVID-19 infections and other public health concerns.
Dr. Tufton says some 13 of 22 hospitals across the island are at the red alert phase. He says while no individual should be turned away due to overcrowding at hospitals, citizens should refrain from going to hospitals unless it’s absolutely necessary.
